Located on one of the most beautiful and lively beaches in Vilanculos, Casa Babi is a Boutique Hotel with a real B&B atmosphere and one of the special accommodation in town.

 

Our swimming pool, restaurant and the in-house dive center add to your comfort and pleasure during your stay. Our kitchen is proud to offer a creative and fresh cuisine - an Italian, French, Thai and Mozambican fusion!

 

At breakfast we will treat you to a variety of home-made breads and jams, tropical fruits and freshly squeezed juices, muesli, yogurt, your choice of eggs - and more!

 

For dinner, a different menu is diplayed every morning on our black board. We are happy to adapt to all dietary requirements.

 

Among our specialties: risotto with clams, green papaya salad with prawns, fish fillet with pesto sauce, stuffed calamaris, passion fruit cheesecake, banana ice cream, a large variety of vegetarian dishes, etc...not to mention the Mozambican specialties like Matapa or Coconut Crab Curry.

 

Us, Sabrina (French & Italian) & Denis (French), started our adventure in Mozambique, in 2007, when we bought the already existing Odyssea Dive in Vilanculos. 

After several years working in IT and advertising in Europe, our passion for diving, beautiful landscapes and new experiences, lead us to this  paradise on earth where people are friendly, beaches are white and waters crystal clear!

 

Casa Babi was born in 2011, with the idea of offering divers and non divers a new kind of accommodation in Vilanculos, a proper B&B, where guests would feel at home, hosted by family. All the members of staff will always do their best to contribute to this feeling. Most of them have been working with us since the beginning and we all consider ourselves a big family.

 

Last but not least, to make you really feel at home, you can count on the presence of the 6 dogs who joined us throughout the years. Friendly and attentive they love coming along with you for a long walk on the beach.

Accommodation: 

 

All our rooms overlook the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago.They offer great comfort and fantastic sea-views, one step away from the beach.

Whether you choose one of the 4 deluxe rooms with sea view or the family cottage - the large mosquito nets, silent wooden fans, spacious and bright bathrooms, will contribute to a most enjoyable stay. In the main building, the 4 deluxe rooms benefit from one of the best sea views in Vilanculos. All have a private veranda from where you will enjoy amazing views of the Bazaruto Islands and the incredible beach life of an authentic African fishing village.

The king size bed can be separated in 2 comfortable single beds for those  who prefer.

"Tucul" - Family & self-catering cottage

Nestling in the back of our lush garden, this cottage has 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge. From the veranda you will enjoy a refreshing sea breeze from the ocean and a bit of a sea view. It can comfortably sleep 5 people. For those not in the mood for cooking, our restaurant is available.

From 120Euro per night self-catering.
