This stunning camp has a maximum of 12 guests in the camp at any one time providing an inclusive and intimate safari atmosphere. The camp will be the perfect destination for photographers and general safari goers alike. The camp will be hosted by a resident Pangolin Photo safaris host who will be on hand to ensure that the guest experience is exceptional.

The Pangolin Khwai Camp has a total of seven Meru style tents. All of the tents are well spaced apart, and approximately 24 m² in size. Each tent has its’ own toilet and shower and plenty of space for camera bags and suitcases. In front, each tent has a small private deck with beautiful views over the grasslands in front of the camp… the perfect place to relax with a good book in between drives. The tents have a good electricity supply and hot running water, powered by a solar geezer.

At the camp, there are three game viewers which means a maximum of four guests per vehicle. The vehicles have been modified with camera mounts built into the arm rests. The resident Pangolin photo host will pair up clients with similar needs and photographic expectations.
 

As the camp is on a private reserve you are permitted to off-road at special sightings as well as conduct night drives. With the limited numbers of vehicles on the reserve you will also not be rushed off sightings nor have to share them with large numbers of other vehicles.

On the reserve, there is also a dedicated Mokoro station and clients staying for three or more nights will be offered this as a free inclusion in their package. Mokoro activities are only available when the water levels are at their fullest – generally from April through to October.

The camp is open year-round with excellent game viewing throughout the seasons. Please note that the water-based activities are dependent on the water levels in the Delta.
