Four large Meru style tents, equipped with open air en- suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, flush toilets and solar lighting combined with simple, tasteful comfort and fine dining on the banks of the Runde River, Mahove has it all.

Accompanied by your own private guide, walking safaris and game drive activities are available, the Runde is often dotted with elephants coming to drink or feed below the camp. Wild dogs, buffalo, hippo, waterbuck, nyala and kudu have all been seen from the camp itself. Birding is spectacular in this area, and its location provides easy access to spectacular game viewing areas, natural pans and rivers.

Mahove is a seasonal camp, operating from April to November. Maximising the driest time of year which is perfect for excellent game encounters, cool weather, and visibility.

Combine your camping with a trip to the iconic and breathtaking Chilojo Cliffs, or a half day trip to Tembwahata, or Machanu Pans. Explore both the Northern and Southern banks of the Runde, or perhaps a trip to the Save/Runde junction.
