NAMIBIA
WHY TRAVEL HERE?

Namibia is twice the size of Germany and yet it is also the second least densely populated country in the world, with just 2 million people. This extraordinarily expansive country is perfect for a self-drive safari; with an excellent network of high standard roads and incredible diversity, this is one of the most enjoyable we know.

Excellent wildlife viewing in Etosha National Park and some of the largest sand dunes in the world at the adrenalin capital of Swakopmund, in the Namib-Naukluft National Park combine to make Namibia a rollicking adventure destination for the whole family! In the south you’ll see Fish River Canyon, the world’s second deepest canyon, as well as Sossuvlei’s white pans and red dunes, while dramatic Damaraland offers the chance to see desert rhino and fantastic rock formations.

The country’s currency, the Namibian dollar, is pegged to the South African Rand, which currently offers excellent value for money for your holiday when converted from major currencies.
