Shashani Matobo Hills lodge is in a private game reserve on the border of the Matobo Hills National Park. Enjoy a Matobo safari after only an hour’s drive from Bulawayo. Matobo Hills, as a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers engaging activities for visitors. After less than an hour’s drive through the beautiful landscape, you can visit the iconic giraffe paintings at Nswatugi Cave. Also on the itinerary, are visits to Worlds View and Cecil John Rhodes’ Grave.

The main building at this Matobo lodge has a comfortable lounge and bar with an adjoining dining room. All open-fronted towards the breathtaking view while a large fireplace is available to take the chill out of winter evenings.
