Antelope Park is known as one of Southern Africa’s Most Intriguing Destinations, and winners of the "Environmental Award" at the 2013 AZTA Awards ceremony. The Park is home to the world famous African Lion and Environmental Research Trust (ALERT) lion rehabilitation programme. This was featured on lion country which was a UK hit documentary. Antelope Park's ALERT is Africa's first working program to re-introduce offspring of captively bred lions into the wild.

The park is over 3000 acres and is predominantly open savannah grassland, There are many activity options including walk with lions, riding on elephants, horse riding or canoeing on the lake.

There is a large variety of accommodation available including camping sites, self catering lodges, ensuite lodges, river tents and honeymoon suites.
