The 11-room campsite is designed to have a castaway feel on an island. These simple rooms have tent canvas walls on a raised structure. The room comes with 2 single beds and a small outside sitting area. This is designed to be a simple yet comfortable place to explore the island at a more affordable rate for our educational and tour groups.

In 2026, this will be separated from Bazaruto Sands and be an exclusive product for groups with its own small Castaway kitchen and separate access. It will also allow groups to self-cater or ask us for catered options to enjoy local chefs' seafood and other Mozambique specialities. Access to Bazaruto Sands in 2026 will be only for residents of Bazaruto Sands.
