Mushara Lodge
The name Mushara derives from the Purple Pod Terminalia tree, which grows in abundance in the lodge grounds and the surrounding area. The thatched public area consists of a small library, bar with an extensive wine cellar, airy lounge with welcoming fireplace for chilly winter evenings, dining area and well stocked curio shop.

During the summer months, meals are enjoyed on the covered terrace. A feature of Mushara is its large, tiled, bright blue swimming pool surrounded by green lawn that is kept well manicured by the occasional visiting local wildlife. At Mushara the emphasis is on friendly, personalized service accompanied by excellent innovative dining. The only meal served buffet style is breakfast with a choice between continental and cooked English style fare. All other meals are served on a set menu basis and are accompanied by a choice of excellent wines from South Africa.

The main attraction of Mushara is its proximity to Etosha National Park with its diversity and abundance of wildlife. Guided game drives in specialized vehicles into the park can be pre-booked.
