Set along the quiet banks of the Mussicadzi River, Muzimu Lodge offers an intimate and welcoming base from which to explore Gorongosa. With just six East African-style tents, each with a private deck and en-suite bathroom, the lodge blends simplicity with comfort and is a central hub for many of Gorongosa’s pioneering conservation and community initiatives. Days are shaped by guided wildlife experiences, while the relaxed main area and pool provide a peaceful space to unwind and take in the surrounding wilderness. 

Activities include game drives, walking safaris, seasonal boating and canoeing activities, hiking, pangolin conservation, biodiversity and community activities and birding.
