Sediba Sa Rona by Desert & Delta Safaris is primed to be one of the most spectacular properties in the Khwai Concession—the meeting point of iconic ecosystems and home to some of Botswana’s largest concentrations of wildlife.
Guests are offered every opportunity to witness the abundant game that flocks to this vital ecological hub—a key wildlife corridor sustained by the Khwai River and the lodge’s position between the Okavango Delta’s eastern fan and Moremi Game Reserve.
All 15 Luxury Tents are river-facing and en suite. The main area comprises a stunning fire deck, pool, bar, spa, curio shop and various al fresco dining spaces, among other striking features.
Inclusive activities include twice-daily game drives plus optional night drives. Seasonal mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) excursions cover the Khwai River, and birding is fantastic. Day trips to Moremi Game Reserve are available on request. Scenic helicopter flights can be booked as well (surcharges apply).
Sediba Sa Rona will be more than a stunning lodge. For guests, it will be a sanctuary for industry-leading safari journeys, full of heart, soul and meaningful luxuries. For Botswana, it will be a fresh source that initiates positive, widespread ripple effects.

Optional day trips into Moremi Game Reserve are available on request (strictly no night drives in Moremi Game Reserve).

Birding
Birding is out of this world year-round with stunning feathered residents, such as kingfishers (including Pied, Malachite, Giant, Woodland, and Mangrove), African fish eagles and African jacanas. Avid birder or curious novice, seeing a highly elusive Pel’s fishing owl is a special opportunity and, if spotted, is a special moment to cherish. Specialist Guiding and private activities for avid birders available (surcharges apply).
Mokoro Excursions
Explore the Khwai River’s shallower channels and floodplains by mokoro (a traditional dugout canoe, expertly polled by the incredible Desert & Delta Safaris guides). This is a stunning way to slow down and absorb nature’s marvellous lesser-known inhabitants, which may surprise as big highlights—from reed frogs to water lilies and the mysterious sitatunga antelope. Dependent on seasonal water levels.
