Sussi & Chuma, named after David Livingstone's faithful friends, consists of an exclusive, upmarket lodge which takes full advantage of its enchanting river-bank setting. The Zambezi River sweeps past your treehouse in unrestrained splendour as it surges on to its destiny with the waterfall downstream, A hippo breaks the surface, its guttural belly laugh rising above the water's own turbulent voice. This is your personal piece of Africa.
Welcome to Sussi & Chuma – an enchanting riverbank hideaway just upstream of the Victoria Falls, and a perfect beginning or finale, to your Zambian wildlife safari. The main lodge building features a spectacular raised bar/lounge deck, open air dining area, swimming pool and lawns sweeping down to the water's edge.Resident wildlife, such as hippopotamus and elephant, is likely to wander through the Lodge grounds at any time, since in the National Park they have priority.
