Tanzania & Zanzibar Experience
A stunning tour through beach and bush
Day 1: Alexander's Hotel, Dar es Salaam
Dar es Salaam

You will be collected from the airport after your flight into Tanzania and taken to Alexander’s Hotel to relax for the day by the pool, enjoy a late breakfast or head out to explore the markets and architecture of this beautiful city.
Overnight: Alexander's Hotel
Alexander’s Hotel cares for each guests individual needs and is a sanctuary of peace and beauty, with it's cool, elegant architecture and contrasting antique touches. The lounge, complete with grand piano, is there for your enjoyment and you must definitely take a peek inside the hotel’s unrivalled glass-topped wine cellar as well. There is also complimentary wifi available throughout the hotel during your stay.

Day 2-3 Ruaha River Camp, Ruaha National Park
Ruaha National Park
Ruaha is currently East Africa’s biggest national park and the second-largest on the African continent. The park contains Tanzania’s most sizeable elephant haven and is home to a profusion of bird species. Crocodiles and hippos thrive in the Great Ruaha River, which flows along the sanctuary’s eastern border. In the dry season between July and November, animals flock to the last remaining water sources, presenting an exceptional wildlife spectacle.
Your scheduled flight on Safari Airlink departs at 10h30 and Alexander’s will arrange your airport transfer.
Overnight: Ruaha River Camp
The Great Ruaha River is the lifeline of the Park; the lodge offers you the privilege of your own riverside 'banda' designed to blend seamlessly into the surroundings. The local stone and thatch room has minimal impact on the environment and game viewing from your veranda is a relaxing and enthralling option.
Enjoy game drives and guided walks during your stay.
Included: All meals, drinking water, game drives and game walks
Day 4 - 5 Rufiji River Camp, Selous Game Resource
Selous Game Reserve
The remote and little-visited Selous Game Reserve is peaceful and exclusive with only a few accommodation options. The Great Rufiji River and its tributaries create a network of forests and woodlands around the lagoons, sandbanks and lakes with tall palm trees adding to the scenic splendour. The reserve has a large variety of plants, birds, elephant, buffalo and almost a third of the world's remaining wild dogs.
Your flight from Ruaha National Park to Selous National Park departs at 13h45 and will be organised by Ruaha River Lodge.
Overnight: Rufiji River Camp
Rufiji River Camp is located on the banks of the Rufiji river, in the heart of the reserve. It is environmentally friendly and each tent is equipped with private bathroom and a veranda facing the river. A structure in the central part of the camp hosts the restaurant, bar and library, all with a view of the river and the sunset.
Game drives, boating trips and guided walks are included.
