Day 1: Alexander's Hotel, Dar es Salaam

There is also complimentary wifi available throughout the hotel during your stay.

Day 2-3 Ruaha River Camp, Ruaha National Park

Ruaha National Park

Ruaha is currently East Africa’s biggest national park and the second-largest on the African continent. The park contains Tanzania’s most sizeable elephant haven and is home to a profusion of bird species. Crocodiles and hippos thrive in the Great Ruaha River, which flows along the sanctuary’s eastern border. In the dry season between July and November, animals flock to the last remaining water sources, presenting an exceptional wildlife spectacle.

Day Itinerary

Your scheduled flight on Safari Airlink departs at 10h30 and Alexander’s will arrange your airport transfer.

Overnight: Ruaha River Camp

The Great Ruaha River is the lifeline of the Park; the lodge offers you the privilege of your own riverside 'banda' designed to blend seamlessly into the surroundings. The local stone and thatch room has minimal impact on the environment and game viewing from your veranda is a relaxing and enthralling option.

Enjoy game drives and guided walks during your stay.

Included: All meals, drinking water, game drives and game walks

Excluded: Drinks

Day 4 - 5 Rufiji River Camp, Selous Game Resource

Selous Game Reserve

The remote and little-visited Selous Game Reserve is peaceful and exclusive with only a few accommodation options. The Great Rufiji River and its tributaries create a network of forests and woodlands around the lagoons, sandbanks and lakes with tall palm trees adding to the scenic splendour. The reserve has a large variety of plants, birds, elephant, buffalo and almost a third of the world's remaining wild dogs.

Day Itinerary

Your flight from Ruaha National Park to Selous National Park departs at 13h45 and will be organised by Ruaha River Lodge.

Overnight: Rufiji River Camp

Rufiji River Camp is located on the banks of the Rufiji river, in the heart of the reserve.
