Barra Lodge is a fully equipped beach resort, which still manages to retain a wild, rustic charm. Set on a beautiful, unspoilt stretch of beach, the resort is a perfect place to spend your days relaxing on the beach, wandering through the mangroves, or just sitting outside your “Casita”, enjoying a good book.

At the lodge's restaurant fresh seafood dominates the menu with prawns, calamari and fresh line fish remaining the ever popular favourites. Pub lunches and snacks are served daily as well. The tropical beach bar is a popular meeting place at the day's end where the best fishermen's yarns are heard and you can watch magnificent sunsets, play volleyball or simply relax with a cocktail.

Accommodation:

A choice of traditional Casitas or luxury self-catering cottages. The Casitas are made of thatch, brick and reeds creating a charming atmosphere. Each has two beds, a shower and toilet en-suite, wonderful sea views and a stone's throw from the beach.

The cottages have 2 bedrooms with a total of 6 single beds, a lounge come dining room area, kitchen, shower and separate toilet. Hot and cold water are supplied and the kitchen has all the basic amenities including a fridge, 2-plate gas stove, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, and utensils. The cottages are serviced daily and bedding linen is supplied.
