ROAD ACCESS
Approximately 7 hours’ drive from Harare, Zimbabwe.
AIR ACCESS
Located in central Mozambique, Gorongosa is well-connected by air. International flights arrive in Beira, Mozambique’s second-largest city, which serves as the main gateway to Gorongosa. From Beira, travellers can take a short charter flight directly into the park with Safari Air.
A scheduled flight connects Beira with Vilanculos, making it easy to pair a safari in Gorongosa with a beach break on the Mozambique coastline or islands.
