Set amongst coconut trees, Massinga Beach is luxury amongst nature with a 1.3km endless stretch of deserted beachfront.
 

Comfort is our priority and each large stilted room or chalet is free standing with ultimate sea views… Tantalize your taste buds with our Chef’s choice set menu using only the freshest ingredients available.  Dietary requirements are catered for by prior arrangements (subject to availability). A unique Beach Bar and pool, set amongst natural boulders and right at the edge of the warm sea, provide comfort and drinks to sun-lovers.
 

Relaxation is the key with satellite TV in the bar and library only.  Limited Wi-Fi is available at the reception area and local sim cards are available. Every day is a celebration at Massinga Beach, however, tailor made wedding packages, birthday parties or group incentives are our speciality.

Beach Walks

Fishing
Fishing charters are either a 3 hour bay fishing or 6 hour deep sea fishing. Guests depart to White Sands from Linga Linga +-20 minute boat ride travelling at high speed. The most common fish guests may catch is King Fish, Natal Snoek, Cuda, Bonnito, Yellow Fin Tuna and in the summer months, Dorado. Fishing rods and tackle as well as a boat lunch (6hr excursion) and refreshments are included in the rate. We encourage Catch & Release, however, should you wish to take your fish back to the Lodge, our Chef will prepare it for you. Please note that the boat keeps 25% of your catch ie if you catch 4 fish, the boat will keep 1.

Pansy Island
Departure times for Pansy Island vary according to tides. A Massinga Beach vehicle will take you to the boat launch. After a cup of tea/coffee, you will be fitted with flippers should you require. Various sizes of goggles and snorkels are on the boat with pool towels. A short boat ride +-4.5km (15 minutes) will take you onto Pansy Island where you can snorkel around the shallow waters, admire the unique Pansy Shells or laze around on bean bags under the shade of a gazebo. A light snack basket and 2 soft drinks per person is included in the excursion rate. Additional drinks and alcoholic beverages may be purchased prior to departure. After spending about 2 hours on the island, your driver will take you back to Massinga Beach.

Scuba Diving and Ocean Safari
Scuba diving and Ocean Safaris are offered from the Morrongulu area which is approximately a 45 minute drive from Massinga Beach. Should you be a novice and not entirely sure that you will enjoy scuba diving, Discover Snorkelling, Bubble Blower or Try Scuba courses may be arranged with a Dive Master from Morrongulu in our own Massinga Beach Dive Pool at Reception. For the more experienced and qualified divers, sea dives are available.
