Musangano Lodge

Tucked away on the lower slopes of a tree-covered hillside in the Eastern district of Zimbabwe lies a delightful little leisure resort known by the name of Musangano Lodge - 'the place where people meet.'

Whether you are looking for a weekend retreat to relax with family and friends or want to have a conference in quiet surroundings, Musangano Lodge offers a comprehensive range of facilities that will suit your requirements.

When you feel like stretching your legs, there are a variety of activities at hand on site and nearby to suit all ages and interests. Enjoy our marked nature trails, ranging from a leisurely one hour afternoon stroll through the woodlands, to a more demanding three hour trek up the surrounding hills and through the local Aloe Route. The area is rich in indigenous tree species and also has an abundant birdlife, perfect for those interested in bird watching. The Lodge boasts a large crystal clear swimming pool with an attached children’s paddling pool, ideal for those hot sultry days. While you soak up the sun in one of our loungers, your children can let off some steam in the imaginatively designed wooden playground situated close by or enjoy some outdoor games. Biking enthusiasts should try our established mountain and road bike routes that wind through the scenic area around Musangano on both dirt and tar roads. The distances range from 10 – 65 kms.
